What We Do
We work with representatives in Somalia to get funds directly to orphans and families in need. Our trustees cover administrative costs themselves, ensuring that 100% of donations go directly to those in need.
Recent Campaigns
- Somalia Drought Relief 2026In February 2026, Somalia announced a national drought emergency affecting nearly 5 million people and 2 million livestock, risking famine. Recent US funding withdrawal has drastically reduced humanitarian aid from organisations like the World Food Programme. Immediate support is needed to provide food relief to vulnerable families.
- Ramadan Campaign 2022Following the success of our 2021 Ramadan campaign, we raised funds once again to ensure that we could provide families in Somalia with the provisions they would need to celebrate Ramadan with ease.
- Helping Farxiyo Shelter Her FamilyIn 2021, we ran a successful GoFundMe campaign to help Farxiyo, a single mother with 4 children under the age of 11, expand her business and provide shelter for her children while she worked.
مَثَلُ الَّذِيۡنَ يُنۡفِقُوۡنَ اَمۡوَالَهُمۡ فِىۡ سَبِيۡلِ اللّٰهِ كَمَثَلِ حَبَّةٍ اَنۡۢبَتَتۡ سَبۡعَ سَنَابِلَ فِىۡ كُلِّ سُنۡۢبُلَةٍ مِّائَةُ حَبَّةٍؕ وَاللّٰهُ يُضٰعِفُ لِمَنۡ يَّشَآءُ ؕ وَاللّٰهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيۡمٌ
(2:261)The example of those who spend their wealth in the Way of Allah is like that of a grain of corn that sprouts seven ears, and in every ear there are a hundred grains. Thus Allah multiplies the action of whomsoever He wills. Allah is Munificent, All-Knowing.
